7. Data Retention Period & Dispose-off:
Taleem Connect will retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to service your loans, or as required by law and regulation.
- Destruction of Obsolete Information
- All software, information and data must be erased beyond readable format from storage devices or any other media prior to disposal.
- All disposals must be authorized by the relevant Head of Department or authorized delegate, details regarding the disposal will be recorded appropriately.
- A respective team or authorized delegate must be responsible to dispose off all hard copy information securely through proper shredding.
- IT Administrator will be responsible to maintain complete record of obsolete information kept on media, tapes and in other soft form.
- Storage of Information
Adequate procedures will be enforced to ensure that TFCL’s data and information printed on paper and stored on tape, disk or other media in formats such as image, text, audio and video etc. is properly protected at all times from unauthorized access. These procedures will extend to all locations where TFCL’s information is stored including areas external to TFCL’s e.g. offsite storage location for backup.
- The room where computer media is stored must be secured at all times. Only authorized TFCL employees will be given access to the room.
- All PCs must be locked prior to leaving the workstation. Tapes and disks are to be appropriately labelled and stored in locked cabinets or other secure areas.
- All hard copies of confidential and sensitive TFCL’s data and information must be stored in locked cabinets or other secure areas.
- All storage location of TFCL’s data, information and software must be secured from unauthorized access.
8. Loan Defaulters:
Taleem Finance Company to handle defaulters in compliance with the laws of Pakistan. Implementing fair and legal processes ensures the company's actions are ethical and align with the legal framework of the country.
